Our Background

My family has been in the construction industry for over 35 years. From residential and commercial buildings in the beautiful country of Portugal to bridge building on the east coast (New Jersey). While serving my country with the US Marine Corps, I relocated to San Diego County in 1997. In 1999, I started Guedes Construction and incorporated in 2002. We are a family owned and operated business specializing in all of your construction needs.

From custom homes, room additions, kitchen remodeling, bath remodeling, wood flooring, tiling, stucco, painting, and granite/marble just to name a few.

I genuinely want our clients to be completely pleased with Guedes Construction Inc. Right from the outset we work hard presenting as many scenarios as necessary to bring the cost within their budget. We are really thorough-right down to the number of light switches. I believe in avoiding problems by being careful in the design and planning stages. Good communication is critical and I believe our record proves that we deliver. Of our current clients, 50% are referred by repeat clients, 20% are realtors/engineers and 30% are friends and family of past clients-a record of which everyone at Guedes Construction is very proud.
